Every gift helps rescue history before it’s lost.
The American Aviation Historical Society was founded in 1956 to collect, preserve, and promote the record of planes, people, places, and events that shaped American flight — from the pioneers before the Wright Brothers through WWI, WWII, the Golden Age, and the jet era.
Much of our vast image collection still exists only in fragile print and negative form. Without scanning and cataloging, these images cannot be shared with members, researchers, or the public. Donations directly fund the digitization, storage, and stewardship that keep this heritage alive for future generations.
